Cute Wedding Traditions

As time moves on, weddings are beginning to take place during weekdays, but it is at the weekend when we hear the bells that most of us recognize as the time when a couple have just married. For those of us that are married, the whole thing brings back memories and we remember our own and others wedding days.

There's the massive cake, the champagne, the jovial crowd and the wonderful wedding traditions. These are the things we look forward to on our day of perfect bliss. The scene is set and the bride walks towards the alter and her bride with her father ready to give her away, finally exchanging the wedding rings in a gesture of union. All these things must be thoughts in your mind if you are close to your wedding and it wouldn't be the same without the little traditions we have all grown up with. If you were to place it in any order, it would be the pre-wedding parties, the ceremony itself and of course the honeymoon.

The bachelor party is where the men get a chance to arrange some treats for the groom who is generally worried about what might happen to him. Bachelor parties are great so it doesn't matter if not everyone believes that they are a real wedding tradition. I have been to a few bachelor parties, my brothers and a good buddy of mine but they were quite some time ago so I don't know all the tricks that they get up to nowadays. Often these parties are just simple affairs where a group of guys close to the groom get together and have a few drinks and maybe some dancing girls. Most of this celebration is about friendship and letting go of the single lifestyle and notice that I didn't say it's about getting buck wild with the dancers. At one time it was the guys who dominated the bachelor parties but the girls have started to catch up and it won't be long before they compete with the men for party antics.

Arranged marriages couples everywhere always look forward to the honeymoon wedding tradition. Finally after all the preparations, you will be alone for a couple of weeks with no-one to bother you and nothing to sort out but what you want to o each day. From my point of view, the honeymoon is the start of the marriage so why not spend some more a better destination and not so much on the wedding but I doubt many people would agree. It is probably the best holiday the couple will ever have so there is nothing wrong with them spending a little more on themselves and having some well earned fun. Some people do not spend much time thinking about the honeymoon but I believe that a two week holiday after a wedding requires some in depth thought.
Beautiful Wedding Traditions

Everywhere in the Western world on a Saturday or Sunday when you hear those church bells ringing it's a good indication that another couple have got married. This is a time in everyone's life that is memorable to say the least; we all love this day and ideally it should occur only one time for each person.

The wedding cake and toast are my two favorite wedding traditions on the day although there are many others to look forward to and where a wedding wouldn't be the same without them. On the day of the wedding, there are a number of small events that we all expect to happen and wait for with anticipation. The soon-to-be bride paces softly toward her one true love, the father gives her away as the two souls become one with the exchange of rings. I can guarantee these thoughts are going through your mind if you are preparing for your big day and remember how you felt at the last wedding you attended. If you were to place it in any order, it would be the pre-wedding parties, the ceremony itself and of course the honeymoon.

Of course for the men it is the bachelor party they look forward too, even if the groom is probably very nervous about what is in store. Some people say that the bachelor party cannot be counted as a wedding tradition but can you honestly imagine a wedding without one. I've been to a total of two bachelor parties in my day, one was my brother's and one was my best buddy's. Although many bachelor parties are becoming as well organized as the wedding itself, most are still pretty much the same, guys , booze and some dancers if they're lucky. Most of this celebration is about friendship and letting go of the single lifestyle and notice that I didn't say it's about getting buck wild with the dancers. At one time it was the guys who dominated the bachelor parties but the girls have started to catch up and it won't be long before they compete with the men for party antics.

Without doubt my favorite wedding tradition happens after the ceremony and reception and that is the honeymoon. Anyone who has arranged a wedding knows how stressful it can be especially on the couple getting married so the honeymoon is like a payback and they get time to spend uninterrupted on each other. Obviously you can't spend the majority of the wedding budget on this but it would be fun for the couple if not for the wedding guests. This is the tradition that's solely meant for the bride and groom and it's about getting pampered, lounging about, and dining at the finest eateries. Some people do not spend much time thinking about the honeymoon but I believe that a two week holiday after a wedding requires some in depth thought.
